Here’s what employers need to know about B.C.’s minimum employment standards for paying wages.  Effective June 1st 2021, B.C.'s minimum wage is $15.20 per hour.

The minimum wage will continue to rise every year. The general minimum wagein particularwill increase as follows: 

  • June 1, 2020: $14.60 per hour 
  • June 1, 2021: $15.20 per hour
